IT Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Summary

The IT Technician will be the first point of contact for the organization when support is needed by end users. They will also be responsible for the setup and maintenance of all computers within the organization. This includes application support for all business applications as well as supporting cybersecurity efforts to keep all computers compliant with security guidelines. Please note this role will require the incumbent to work on-site and work remotely only on a, as needed basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for provisioning equipment for new hires

First line of support for troubleshooting software and hardware issues

Apply patches/software updates as needed or as requested by cybersecurity team Help provision new user accounts

Assign new employees training and policies through our Quality Management System

Train and assist users in using Office 365 suite of applications

Review and respond to security reports/alerts

Maintain helpdesk queue, ensuring quick service and reliable documentation of incidents

Assist in escorting visitors into the server room

Subject matter expert for our remote management tool

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Specifications

Knowledge of PC hardware

Experience with Windows 7/8/10/11

Ability to troubleshoot

Outstanding customer service and communication skills

Problem-solving aptitude

Attention to detail

Able to work independently or as part of a team

Degree in technology or related certifications
