Support and service equipment in use across European territories and other locations, as needed.
Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this position, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
Evaluate equipment in use across European, Asian, and Middle East territories by conducting tests, ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards, and making modifications and factory upgrades.
Uncrate, install and crate equipment and perform calibrations and manufacturer recommended tests.
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; conducting performance and calibration tests following manufacturer instructions; troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions; conducting field upgrades; calling manufacturer for special service and recommendations when out of his/her scope of knowledge.
Evaluate equipment performance by studying machine-patient interaction by conferring with equipment users and collaborating with equipment manufacturers.
May include training clinical staff on equipment as needed.
Maintain equipment supplies and parts inventory.
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests on equipment.
Provide technical support via service line to customers across all territories as needed.
Travel to national and international customer sites to provide engineering services, may include weekend travel and/or work.
Accurately complete all data entry activities including expense reports, feedback and service reports and enter into corporate systems as defined by procedures.
Train users to utilize equipment in a safe manner including first line test procedures as recommended by the manufacturer.
Provide consumables and access codes to UK, European and other treatment sites.
Co-ordinates and implements all UK, mobile and static, Sonablate logistics.
Address all daily administrative tasks in relation to the UK workshop.
All other duties, as assigned.
Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience, required.
Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering or related field (Engineering), preferred.
Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
Previous experience in the medical device industry, or other regulated industry, preferred
Electro-mechanical analysis and troubleshooting experience and knowledge, preferred.
Able to read and understand procedures, schematics and block diagrams associated but not limited to the above indicated Duties and Responsibilities.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
