The Role

The primary role of the Business Development Analyst is to support the global commercial teams with data analysis that can drive strategic decisions. In this role you will work with sales, marketing, and clinical operations teams to research the market landscape, identify trends and emerging issues, and empower our commercial team to identify leads and then convert those leads. Your strong analytical and organizational skills will keep us ahead of the curve and able to support forecasting with predictive analytics. You will be and own the data that drives our growth and development.


  • Gather and assess business information needs and prepare data and reporting requirements

  • Facilitate efficient data reporting and analysis of KPIs

  • Identify opportunities for commercial process improvements

  • Own the process for setting sales target and sales territory creation

  • Utilize critical commercial tools such as Salesforce and PowerBI in like with the needs of the teams

  • Develop, monitor, and optimize sales forecasting and budgeting processes in close coordination and alignment with the Head of US Sales, Chief Commercialization Officer, and Director of Service

  • Provide sales result analysis, commercial insights, and industry trends to support critical business decisions and activities

  • Continuously identify improvement areas based on business insights

  • Develop and execute new reporting tools as needed in coordination with Finance and other functions

  • Provide market and competitive intelligence to evolve understanding of the competitive market positioning and market dynamics

  • Lead master data quality improvement efforts and ensure sustainment of key data quality (customer record, install base, CRM data, etc)

  • Support Sonablate’s strategic initiatives by completing all other duties, as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer information, or related field

  • Advanced excel knowledge required

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to present data and dashboards at executive and board level meetings

  • Experience in data analytics and report writing

  • Healthcare and global experience, preferred

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, required. Salesforce certification, a plus
